Indoor Winter Lacrosse Clinics

Swax Lax Lacrosse runs indoor clinics for K-3rd grade boys and girls during the months of January and February. The clinics are offered once a week and are one hour in length.

Swax Lax Lacrosse clinics are designed for kids who are ready to learn the sport or take their skills to the next level in the off-season. No prior experience is necessary. We reinforce the basic skills of catching, throwing, cradling, ground ball pick-ups, dodging, shooting, and defensive stickwork, while staying true to the Swax Lax Lacrosse spirit of building confidence and having fun!

For intermediate players, we reinforce the fundamentals, while also working on becoming comfortable with the non-dominant hand, cutting and catching on the run, shooting technique, footwork, and the basics of draw control.

Groups are usually divided by grade level and friends can always be placed together upon request.

Here’s what you need to know.

Clinic Fees

Your clinic fee includes a Swax Lax ball given to participants at the first clinic.

Drop-off

Because of the acoustics and limited spectator space, we are asking that parents drop off their child and come back at the end of each clinic.

What to Bring

  • Girls: lacrosse stick, sneakers, and goggles 

  • Boys: lacrosse stick, sneakers, and gloves

  • Water bottles (water only, no sports drinks allowed)

Discounts

We offer a sibling discount of 10%. The sibling discount will automatically be applied to the second (or more) child if you register siblings at the same time. If you register siblings at different times, please email us to let us know and we’ll refund your credit card.
