Swax Lax Soft Weighted Lacrosse Training Balls
It’s a “Game Changer”!
As a valued member of our Swax Lax Lacrosse community, I wanted to let you know about Swax Lax, a new lacrosse training ball that I developed with the goal of building confidence in young players, and providing a new training tool for players at every level of the game.
Swax Lax was introduced at the US Lacrosse Convention in Baltimore in late January 2015, and received a terrific reception. We were truly almost overwhelmed by the positive response from coaches, players, retailers, parents, and lacrosse fans of all ages as Swax Lax training balls were hailed as a “game changer”!
I must tell you that over many years, you—our Swax Lax Lacrosse (formerly Sum It Up) campers, coaches, and parents—have served as the inspiration for the invention of this new training ball.As you know, our focus has always been on beginner and intermediate players, building confidence and enjoyment from team work, positive coaching, and making players feel really good about themselves at the end of the day. The possibility of being hit by a hard lacrosse ball was one of the first fears that had to be overcome—and so our coaches tried a variety of things like bean bags, hacky sacks, and lighter balls—whatever we could find.
I knew there had to be something better, and was determined to find it—even if I had to invent it, which I did!Today, with orders coming in from across the country, and as we are ramping up production to manufacture thousands of balls, you, our campers, will be the first to use Swax Lax.We look forward to watching you develop and play with the new training balls.
